Cultivate

Somehow the process

Of sitting still

Is allowing something new

To sprout from the springs

We’re cultivating

Green stems shooting

Unconventionally

From the strongest foundations

Deep rooted in soil

Underneath our feet

This route is not held

By bands

But in the strength of the rocks on our land

That glitter like crystal in the cracks  That we

climb in the morning sun

We are walking on territory

Yet to be explored

Anchored in the leaves

Clustered around our feet

It’s marked each midnight

Every minute of every day

By breath shared

Green fingers intertwined

Cultivating the unconventional
